Patricia earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal
Medicine and Acupuncture in 2010, and recently completed a certificate program in
Chinese Herbal Medicine at Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts in 2021.
Her career started in private practice as well as a member of Arizona State University’s
integrative medicine team. It was her love for, and appreciation of, the integrative
medicine approach that led her to accept a position at Cancer Treatment Centers of
America in Newnan, Georgia in 2013. In her role as an acupuncturist, she treated
patients for a variety of conditions including pain, neuropathy, hot flashes/night sweats,
anxiety, insomnia, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea/constipation, dysgeusia and xerostomia. It
was incredibly rewarding to see how acupuncture allowed patients to undergo cancer
treatment with more grace, and what a difference this intervention made for even the
sickest of patients.
Patricia is very excited about joining the team at Thrive Acupuncture and Wellness.
While her background is in oncology, she is fascinated by the power of acupuncture and
Chinese medicine to enhance fertility. The beauty of acupuncture is that regardless of
the condition being treated, by balancing the imbalances behind a condition the body is
allowed to heal. She believes everyone deserves the chance to achieve their family-
building goals.
In her free time Patricia enjoys being creative in her kitchen, restoring her great
grandmother’s heirloom quilts, and spending time outdoors hiking, camping,
backpacking and kayaking.

As a fertility and women’s health specialist, Fabiola strives to empower her patients to fulfill their dreams at any stage of life. Seeing her patients transform and live more harmoniously with their bodies is the greatest gift.
Fabiola has always had a deep interest in and appreciation for natural medicine. As a toddler, she developed severe asthma that wasn’t responding to Western medical treatments. Thankfully, her parents had an integrative outlook on healing, and after trying a holistic approach, her symptoms resolved. At just a few years old, her life-long fascination with the healing powers of the body began.
For Fabiola, healing isn’t a matter of ‘fixing’ the body. It’s a matter of nudging the body to do what it is designed to do naturally. “I am passionate about helping children and adults honor their body’s innate ability to heal and I use the gentle, effective tools of Chinese medicine to unlock this potential. No matter what age I am working with, my intention is the same: to support the body to do its instinctive healing work. Chinese medicine offers a true complement to other medical models in its emphasis on prevention and resilience, as well as its holistic, individualized approach to complex, chronic conditions”.
