Fabiola has always had a deep interest in and appreciation for natural medicine. As a toddler, she developed severe asthma that wasn’t responding to Western medical treatments. Thankfully, her parents had an integrative outlook on healing, and after trying a holistic approach, her symptoms resolved. At just a few years old, her life-long fascination with the healing powers of the body began.
For Fabiola, healing isn’t a matter of ‘fixing’ the body. It’s a matter of nudging the body to do what it is designed to do naturally. “I am passionate about helping children and adults honor their body’s innate ability to heal and I use the gentle, effective tools of Chinese medicine to unlock this potential. No matter what age I am working with, my intention is the same: to support the body to do its instinctive healing work. Tara Weisenburger, L.Ac, is a licensed acupuncturist and graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City, specializing in fertility acupuncture, hormone balance, and pain management.
Tara’s passion for East Asian medicine began at just ten years old, when she received acupuncture for the first time—an experience that sparked her lifelong fascination with holistic healing. Her interest in fertility care deepened even further through her personal experience undergoing IVF, where acupuncture played a crucial role in her own journey. This firsthand understanding inspires her dedication to helping others navigate fertility challenges with compassion and clinical insight.
Tara’s clinical background spans community health, private practice, and sports medicine. At OnPoint Harm Reduction in Harlem, she provided trauma-informed acupuncture and integrative care to diverse patient populations. In Arizona, Tara owned and operated her own mobile acupuncture practice, treating athletes and members of the fitness community with a focus on sports injuries, performance recovery, mobility enhancement, and pain reduction. She also practiced at Empirical Medicine, treating a wide range of complex conditions, including stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, cancer-related symptoms, neurological disorders, and chronic pain.
